Missouri Family Foundation is committed to a worldview based on God’s revealed truth in the Bible. This view directs our life in this world and shapes our beliefs on issues pertaining to faith, family, and freedom.

Human Life

From the moment of conception until natural death, the right to life is an inalienable and sacred right endowed by our Creator. The right to life is fundamental and preeminent to all other rights. Therefore, we believe that abortion is a moral wrong regardless of the size, level of development, environment, degree of dependency, disabilities, or the circumstances surrounding the conception of the unborn child. We also believe that our days on this earth are numbered by the Lord and that no one has the right to intentionally end an innocent life, therefore we oppose euthanasia and physician assisted suicide.

Marriage

We believe that marriage is an institution of God and a lifelong union between one biological man and one biological woman. Strong marriages and families as a safe and healthy environment for children to flourish are crucial for the betterment of society.

Sex

Sex is binary and is expressed as either male or female according to God's intentional and immutable design. We believe that each human being is fearfully and wonderfully made by God with intention and without exception. For this reason, we believe sex is acknowledged, and not assigned or chosen. Sex is an important biological and social reality that informs us of our identity and should be respected by all.

Parental Rights

Ultimately, parents are responsible for the care and well-being of their children and should therefore be able to make decisions regarding their upbringing without intrusive government involvement. Parents have the right to direct health and educational choices for their children.

Conscience Protections

The right of conscience and the right to practice faith according to personal convictions are sacred and should not be denied or infringed upon.

Human Trafficking

Human trafficking and exploitation in its various forms is morally wrong. Governments have a legitimate and important role in preventing these abuses.
